2nd November 2012 – ASTHP’s First Annual Conference

Some initial feedback

“Very pleased with the whole presentation.  It was well paced and speakers were highly professional in their delivery.  It more than met my expectations and I feel renewed vigour!! Well done to all concerned.”

“Lots to think about.  Really impressed with quality of presentations.  Was very good value for money.”

“All presentations very well delivered.  Good discussions about registration and group feedback, very useful.”

The first Annual Conference was attended by 45 delegates plus five trustees and two external speakers.  There were presentations from Joe Sempik of Nottingham University, Rachel Bragg from Essex University, Jon Fieldhouse from University of West England and John Cliff the ASTHP Vice-Chair.

There was unanimous endorsement of the Association’s aims and for the existing trustees to continue for a further year.

A full report of the Conference, including details of the very positive feedback on proposals for the voluntary professional register of practitioners will be posted on the site very soon.
